The Regensburger Kanu-Club (RKC) offers a wonderful camping opportunity for river, bike and foot hikers on the club grounds from mid-May to mid-September.
The RKC site is located directly on the right bank of the river, on the Danube cycle path, approx. 400 m upstream of the Regensburg barrage. Boat hikers moor at the RKC jetty (Danube river kilometer 2381.7) and transport their boats only 20 m. The campsite is located at the back of the lawn.

Information for our tent guests:
Please do not drive on the lawn with motor vehicles (i.e. no campers, caravans/trailers, cars, minibuses or similar)!
Vehicles can be parked in the parking lot outside the club grounds.
Motorhome parking spaces (i.e. all types of vehicles that can be used for overnight stays) are not available.
Parking within the club grounds is not permitted!
There is no permanent fireplace, as the campsite is located in a nature reserve. Campfires are only permitted in fire bowls brought along.
Showers and toilets can be used all day in the boathouse. Dishwashing is not permitted in these rooms. Please use the dishwashing hut at the rear of the property.
WiFi is not available!
There are no e-bike charging points!
Reservations for individuals are not possible and not necessary, but there is usually enough space available.
For groups of 5 persons or more, please make a reservation in advance via the above e-mail address.
We cannot accommodate larger groups (more than 30 people), nor can we accommodate commercial requests (tour operators, berTouristikTeam events, etc.). (Exceptions: school classes, canoeing clubs/groups)
The nearest inn is right next door, in the sports restaurant belonging to our neighboring club “Freier TuS”.
Regensburg’s old town, which is a World Heritage Site due to its many medieval buildings, can be reached after a 15-minute walk along the riverside path along the Danube.
Every evening between approx. 17:00 and 21:00, someone from the RKC is present in the boathouse to give you further information and collect the campsite fee. If you do not meet the campsite service, please put your campsite fee in the “camping box” in the hallway of the clubhouse.
Fees:
- Adults: 10,00 Euro
- Teenagers: 5,00 Euro
- Children (under 10) and club members: free of charge
- Electricity not available
The campsite is mainly intended for transients. The length of stay should therefore not exceed 1 week.
Disturbing noise must be avoided between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
