For boaters, cyclists and backpackers, the Regensburger Kanu-Club (RKC) features a magnificent tent site on the club grounds, open from mid-May to mid-September.
The site of the RKC is located directly next to the Danube Cycle Trail on the right-hand bank of the river Danube, about 400 m upstream of the dam of Regensburgs hydroelectric plant. Boaters disembark at the RKC jetty (Danube river kilometer index: 2381.7) and transport their boats only 20 m. The campground is located at the back of the compound.

Notes for our tent guests:
Please do not drive on the lawn with vehicles. Parking is available outside the club area (= public parking lot).
RV sites are not available.
There is no fixed fireplace because the campsite is located in a conservation area. Campfires are only allowed within entrained fire bowls.
Showers and toilets can be used all day in the boathouse. The washrooms are located in the center part of the building, situated between the clubhouse- and the boathouse-part. Washing dishes is not allowed in these rooms. Please use the dedicated rinse house in the back of the property.
WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS is not available!
The next inn is situated right next door: a restaurant associated with our neighbouring club „Freier TuS“. The historical town centre of Regensburg – UNESCO world cultural heritage because of its many medieval buildings – is only a walk of 15 minutes away, following the path along the river.
Every evening between 5 pm and 9 pm, someone from the RKC will be present, who will gladly provide you with more information and collect the campsite fee. If you do not manage to meet our campsite service, please drop your campsite fee into the „camping box“ inside the corridor of the boathouse.
Fees:
- Adults: 10,00 Euro
- Youth: 5,00 Euro
- Children (under 10) and club members: free of charge
- Electricity consumption per day: 2,50 Euro
The campground is intended mainly for travelers. The duration of your stay should therefore not exceed 1 week.
Loud noise should be avoided between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
